i think that people only look at the out side of people. they dont take the time to see past it, or thay dont want to see past it wich is the difference between people the ones to see how people are reall like are the ones that stop and help a stranger out and get them back on there feet. theres otheres that would rather step over the person to go somewhere then to stop and help. it will always be the same person that will stop and the same will just walk away, no matter where it is. you see it in the classroom all the time its always the same people that help out and will do things out of the classroom, and others are in here because this class is fun or just to get a easy creat. just like you said today when we where going the appreciate grams and people where talking mean things about others thous are the people that will step over the people in need. i believe that everyone should just give everyone a clean slip and treat everyone as equal, and life would be so much happier and not as much drama.

change the world project

what im going to do to make the world a better place is im going to make it more awear to stop calling people gay and a r*******.im going to do this my making it more awear when people say it, because more people dont understand what there really saying or they dont notice it.i would also make it a couple of days put out anousments to really notice that its not right and they have to stop using thous words. i belive that its important to say somming because some people wont, or cant. to make people awear that its not right and it has to stop. im doing this my starting to join the GSA and make my way uop so i was hopping next year to make it alot bigger and to make people alot more awear of it.

in leadership ive lurned not to jugbe people on where they hang out or who there friends are, and how they look or dress. i lurned to get to know them before jugbing them, because just because someone starts spreading a rumor and everyone belives it and thats how everything starts but im done listening to that ill find out for myself. :) i know i have to lurn alot more, i want to be able to control my anger better, and to just let go of the not important stuff and focus on the good things in life more then the bad because i do have a great life. i need to continue to work well with others, try to conect with others, and just listen and try to help as well as i can. i belive that im becoming a positive leader and one that you can always count on and i would alway be there for them.

Project Design Skills- in the hounted house i made posters to go around the school, i also decorated the hounted house my putting blood, and posters all over the room. with that i made the bathroom decerated with fake blood, caution and keep out signs. and made it look like an abanded bathroom.
Identifying and Dealing with barriers-  in the haunted house i hade to deal with trying to find fake blood to put on the wall wich i was uncessesful. but we did find some stuff to put on the mirror. with that we where trying to find out how the get the kids in the bathroom and out again with out running into eachother wich we figured out that we just bring them into the door so if there really scraed they can hide behide the wall. the one thing i felt difficult is when we started and i didnt think it was all going to work, i thought it would all fall down on someone an dget injered. also i thought that when we where trying to get too many people in at once and they would all clog up and not be able to get set up again. my personal barriors where when to come out of the stoll when there all in and paying attention. we solved that problem by having a signal to be able to jump out when they are all ready. i think i overcame lots of barriors but working it out with tiana and finding out what works best and we worked togethre to make a great fun house bathroom.
Interpersonal Skills-i belive to get everyone involved we just talked about everything that sounded good and all together voted to make the best desegen for the group. i think it worked perfect because we there all split up into groups and areas so it was alot easier to get your voice heard and i think everyone did. as it is everyone is a leader in the class some are quiet and others are loud, ita a great mix but everyone has good ideas and it worked perfect beacuse everyone did and with out that it wouldnt work out the same.
Understanding & Working with Diversity- although it dosent seem like we have alot diversity in the class but there more then it looks like from the athelets to the popular and more. i think we all get along great thou,we all lurned how to work with diversity and i belive that we all know how eachother work. some like to be orginezed and other are just happy doing what people tell them. and i think thats how we worked with diversity
Leadership skills-i think me leadership skills where listening to everyone so we could try everyone idea if possible, orginization, but figurig out what to put and when we figured that out we could carry on what we needed to do, and take anichative to get things going not waiting fo rsomeone to tell me i figure it out on my own .in the bathroom me and taina where the only ones woring in there and we get along relly well so we both where the leaders in the room.
Personal managent skills- in this project i managed my self well, i was always bussy woorking on stuff or scaring people. the area i struggled with was to time comming out of the bathroom on time, and being able to screaming at them the hole lunch hour.i always think i can do a little more to help, but i did farly well with it, i was always in there or making posters or hidding somewhere.i dont think i did need refocusing i did what needed to be done and did it well.i can always improve on somthing but mainly on being more understanding with others and lurning how to relate.
Self-assesment skills- over all i think i did great, i worked well and staied on task. if i where to give my self a mark out of 20 i would get a 15-18 because i worked well with others, stayed on task and helped others.

his story is one of a kind that he made a lot bigger differnce to the people that really need it. that the people get up everyday not having the thing we have but are happier to be excited to learn,to be happy about everyone when the get beeten for fun or having to work all the time like and adult.this chapter was on that i would read again and thats saing alot because i hate to read because someone that hade his life alread paned and was so ready to carey it out and to not except when someone offers a great oppertunity and if that man didnt stop bugging him he would of never got that experince. with that if marc left when he wanted to when one bad thing happened right infornt of you that it makes yo ugive up and the only reason why he really stayed is because of one little boy and made the big differnce. that marc could of stayed in thhe us and made a lot of mone and didnt have to do alot but he desided to make that difference follow out his new dream and to bhe ahppy with not alot of money to be doing the stuff thathe loves to do. waking up everymorning with a smile on his face know that hes making a differnce is worth more then money can bring HAPPIENESS

i think that craigs story was very amazing showing that one artical that when to hounders of people read and  that one person felt so strongly about it to make a difference. to let people know whats going on that child lader is not right, and it looks even better when you think that he was twelve years old. that he made it start and other people joined in and helped make this possible and that not matter who old young big or small that you can always make a differnce. with that he couldnt of done as much without his parents helping him. as he went to asia and saw first hand whats goingg on and to get that involed and make a difference. also i thought it was amazing that nagashir could go infront of all thows people and tell his story to be so brave and willing to put his voice out there not know what people back in him country would  do to him if or hen he goes back.

i thought this show is heart breaking because of things that people have went though i have been really fortunate to be living is a positive enviroment and not have to go though as bad things as othere people have. with that i think its a great thing to do, to let people expess themselfs and to let out what they needed to. i think that this show is amazing and i belive that this will really help people that need it and that we need to get ride of the clicks.
IDCI only real differences are because i think that our clicks are not as bad as it is at roumor high. and that everyone at roumor high notices it and not everyone at IDCI really relizes how many clicks there are and how seperated we are from eachother.
the similaries between us and roumor high is alot. we have a lot of roumors going around, that we all judge a book by its cover instead of lurning who they really are.
i think that this concept was great to give people that might want to tell someone but is scared can do it there to feel safe and that they wont get judged by the people in that room and you make new frinds that you might not of before of might not of even seen that person around before.
i would like to take part in this because i think it would be a ones in a lift experence and to meet new people and just have fun a lurn about other people. but at the same time i wouldnt because i think that someone else can benifit more than me by going to this.
this inverstment was a good one because the kids need to learn how to get out of these clicks and this is the way to go.

i learned that i am very unesevent because i didnt even notice that we are seperated because i know when i can to class i really didnt know anyone i met tiana and jordyn and are now pretty good friends. with our class i noticed that we are seperated into our own kind of  groups that they like to hang out with often. with that i think tht everyone in the class gets alone with eachother. i think that when we started your class we where excited to be back at school and happy to be in a class thats not all book work, but as we whent on we started to loose your excitment and i belive that we need to get that back. i belive that we still need to work on excepting others no matter who they are. when you said keep growing i think of mare or less of stop just talking to some people in the class talk to them out side of class you dont have to be best friends with everyone just say hi in the hall way. also i think to understand other people you have to be able so see it from there perspective and think of more then yourself because thats what leaders do and i think we all need to relize it.

it shows how lucky we are to be in this country of human rights that we dont have people walking around us with michean guns in there arms not knowing if there going to shout you or not. its tarible to think that if that was you what would you do and the answer would proubuly be what can i do if i speak out they'll shout you. to watch a family member die in your arms would be one of the hardest things to do.
i think that it has to show some kind of leadership because he came back after everything he has gone thou and came back to try and help, make things better and try to help the people that need it. also he gave the people out in the old country a voice.

i belive when it said that its wasted on todays sisiaty is because we where brough up with this so people just think its natural they dont think how long it took to get this invetion or that your like a bird in the sky. they just think that its always been like this so they dont think that its as good as it really is. but older people really take avatage of this because it was not around a while ago, they didnt have cell phones or ipods you would only herd it one the radio. so i think that he's right that we dont see what really good around us we just take something thats not that good and complain about it instead of seeing that nice around you and how lucky we are to be living where we do.

-What does it mean to actually do something for the school? I think that to do something for the school could be anything really like just picking up garage on the ground or just helping people i belive that we did something for the school.

-Do I honestly elevate myself above others (like grade 9's or other people in society)? I belive that everyone is equal, and usally i would put people before myself so i belive that i dont elevate myself before others but i dont know how other people see me.

-Are you proud with how you've 'served' the school so far? I think of my self to have served the school by helping people and to help clean upp stuf to make the schhol a better inviroment or people to apreashate what we do here. at the same time thou i belive that i can do alot more for the school because i have to be there for another year so why not make it a better place for people to come and spend a lot of the hours there anyways.
 
-Has anything stopped you from not doing the best you can for others in our school? I dont belive that anyone has, it dosent matter whos in your class you can decide if you would like to listen to that person for to lurn. with that i is a lot harder when there is people talking all over you but thats not an excuse to say that you didnt have to chance to lurn.

-Any other thoughts about what Captain Mike Mc said about, "We should give them respect because they are new and we have arleady figured things out?" I think thats a great idea because although they are younger and some people belive that the grade 9's have to give us respect before we can give them some. but i belive it should e the other way around therer already scard and if you put a hade out to help them all your going to do it gain there respect and a friend also.

i thought your maple leaf did really well as we worked as a team. our idea was first cut out alot of hands so we desided that carly's hand was the smallest so we cut out hers then we made the leaf which was a lot harder than i thought because the shape was unique so it took some effert and planning but when we where done that he made the sides by gluing a lot of hands together. as we all kicked around ideas Justin kelly really put them into action and i thought that he was our leader and riley carly and i did what he asked and made it our own .we all paritcapated alought justin and i did mast of it everyone pitched and and helped.we did the hands because the instructions where to make it by hand and we decided to do that by putting ideas out and figuring that this would of been the easiest say and creative way to do it.

i chose the song i'll Stad By You. this song reminds me of a leader by saying that ill stand by you when i listen to it it makes be think that people will follow you and when you think your alone your not. When it says i wont let anyone hurt you i feel that its saying stand up for what you beleive in and fight for what you want. Also when it says so when your made get made dont hold it inside i belive it says to express your feelings and let it out because you are unique and no one will think the same thing that you are thinking.

my thoughts in leader ship is someone who is trying to become a great individual leaders. leadership is one of my favorite classes becuase it chill,a verry positive enviroment, its always upbeat and funn, u dont just sit at a desk, ur always up and mioving and having a good time. with that u also get to paint and make things and help out the school.
